The South Australian Government is rebuilding lost shellfish reef habitat in Gulf St Vincent and around South Australia’s coast. Join us at Port Vincent Hall to hear from the project teams about what we’re doing and why it matters for our coastal environment.

This forum is open to Yorke Peninsula locals, fishers, and anyone with an interest in South Australia’s marine environment. Come along, ask questions, and find out how the program is being delivered in your region.

Speakers include Sandy Carruthers (Department for Environment and Water), Anita Thomas (The Nature Conservancy), and Dr Dominic McAfee (Adelaide University).

The Nature Conservancy is delivering the large-scale limestone reef as part of the Rebuilding South Australia’s Lost Shellfish Reefs Program.  A multi-year initiative to rebuild lost shellfish reef habitat across South Australia’s coastal waters. Led by the Department for Environment and Water, with joint investment from the South Australian and Australian Governments.
