Port Vincent has a population of approximately 490 permanent residents, with a large holiday home and part time residency. This makes the town's population burst in the Holiday Seasons- especially over the summer months. The Township Consists of many businesses that provide valuable goods and services to the local community and it's visitors. Also many Community Clubs and Activities that are open to the locals and visitors to join in. The Port Vincent Progress Association Is a voluntary community group that work together to support the community and assist with town improvements, infrastructure and bringing the community together for events and activities, Fundraising and working with local council to keep Port Vincent's facilities, beautiful and safe for all its residents and visitors.
The Port Vincent Progress Association is a Body of Elected community volunteers that work together to champion the wants, needs and dreams of the Port Vincent Residents and its Visitors. The PVPA Meet The First Thursday of the Month at 7.30pm at the Port Vincent Institute Supper Room. All are welcome to attend meetings - Please remember that only elected members hold a vote on decision making.
